She never encountered another human until the age of 34. The last member of her family died twenty-five years ago, and since then she has lived alone. Rebecca E Marshall is a filmmaker who has recorded her life through diaries and videos since the age of 13. The Forest in Me documents her journey to visit Agafya, who also draws pictures of her life.   This is a meditation on the nature of identity within an isolated dreamscape of freezing snow and forest.
